Whitelabeling

Each portal supports independent branding configuration, allowing you to present a fully customized experience to your customers. All branding settings are applied automatically when a customer visits the portal.

Branding options

You control three branding properties for each portal:

Display name

The display name appears as the heading on the login page, styled with the portal’s primary color. It is also used in the portal header and the browser tab title.

Set the display name when creating the portal, or update it at any time from the portal settings page.

Primary color

The primary color is a hex value (e.g., #1976d2) that controls the main accent color throughout the portal UI:

  • Buttons – the “Sign in” button, “New Request” button, and “Submit Request” button all use the primary color as their background.
  • Links – all text links within the portal are rendered in the primary color.
  • Accents – active states, focus rings, and selected tabs use the primary color for visual emphasis.
Color contrast
Choose a primary color with sufficient contrast against a white background. The portal uses it for text links and button backgrounds, so very light colors may cause readability issues.

Logo URL

The logo URL points to an externally hosted image. It is displayed above the login form on the portal login page.

  • Use an SVG or transparent PNG for the best results.
  • The logo is rendered at a fixed height, so horizontal logos work best.
  • Recommended dimensions: up to 200px wide by 48px tall.

Different branding per portal

Because each portal is configured independently, a single project can have multiple portals with completely different branding. This supports scenarios such as:

  • Multiple product brands – a company operates “Acme Pro” and “Acme Starter” with distinct visual identities, but both share the same support team.
  • Customer tiers – free and enterprise customers see different portal branding while tickets route to the same queue.
  • Regional offices – localized branding for different regions, all backed by the same project.

Example:

PortalDisplay NamePrimary ColorLogo

acme-starter.auxilium.srs-ngr.comAcme Starter Help#4caf50 (green)acme-starter-logo.svg

Both portals route tickets to the same project, but customers see entirely different branding.

Updating branding

To change a portal’s branding:

  1. Navigate to Portals in the admin sidebar.
  2. Select the portal you want to update.
  3. Edit the Display name, Primary color, or Logo URL fields.
  4. Click Save.

Changes take effect immediately. The next time a customer loads the portal, they will see the updated branding.
